Obituary for Donald Eugene Stover

Donald Eugene Stover, age 81, of Canton, GA passed away Sunday, March 02, 2014 at Kindred Hospital. Mr. Stover proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a graduate of Southern Tech and retired from BellSouth (AT&T). He loved his dogs, yard work, watching sports, and being with his grandchildren. Donald met and married Barbara Bearden 53 years ago. They were extremely close all those years, sharing all the joys and challenges of life, and raising a family. they were inseparable for most of their marriage, both having worked for BellSouth until their retirement. Many remember seeing them out at lunch or traveling around, always acting like the sweethearts that they were. Donald & Barbara continued their journey as they retired from work, so they could enjoy each other's company and the home they had built. They had many happy years together, and made many memories. Their shared journey has ended now, because Donald was called to be with the Lord. He will be sorely missed by his family & friends.

Memorial Services are scheduled for 4:00 PM, on Saturday, March 08, 2014, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Bearden & Rev. Phillip Young officiating.
