Condolences

Condolence From: David Bishop
Condolence: It is with great sadness that I only recently heard about Don's passing. Don was a kind and gentle soul who loved children, and never met a stranger. He had a deep love of history and we talked at length about the railroad, early explorers, the civil war, and other topics. Don told me once, when dealing with young people going thru difficult times, to never be judgmental, and they will always love you for it. He talked about how judging pushes them away, and love brings them closer. That bit of wisdom always stuck with me, and its not the only gem he gave. Although its been years since I talked to him I will always remember the talks he had with me when I was a young man. It made an impression, and a good one.

Condolence: Aunt Wa-Wa, we are thinking of you and of Mom (Don's sister) and all who knew Uncle Don-Don and whom he touched in some way, knowing that you will miss him in some fashion every day now, as will we every time we hear a train whistle. May we all stop and smile fondly as we remember him, gone suddenly and without a chance to say Goodbye, but in a carefree place now.
