Obituary for Norris Glenn Dunn

Norris Glenn  Dunn
Norris Glenn Dunn, age 67, of Canton, GA passed away Saturday, October 03, 2015 at Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain after a courageous battle with cancer related to Agent Orange in Vietnam. Mr. Dunn was of the Baptist faith and loved his family and raised his children in a Christian home. He was a devoted Papa to his grandchildren. Norris served in the U.S. Army and received the Bronze Star. He was a Charter Member of Hickory Road Baptist Church and assisted in starting Boy Scout Troop #125 as well as being instrumental in organizing the Holly Springs Volunteer Fire Department. Norris owned and operated a successful residential building company for many years and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Tuesday, October 06, 2015, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Caylor, Rev. Vernie Worley and Rev. Kent Samples officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 11:30 AM.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Sunday, October 04, 2015, and from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday, October 05, 2015 and from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour on Tuesday, October 7, 2015 at South Canton Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by, Parents: Paul and Freeda Dunn of Holly Springs

Survivors include:
Wife - Monette Dunn, Holly Springs
Daughter - Shelley Vineyard, Canton
Son - Shannon Dunn, Canton
Brother - Jimmy Dunn, Holly Springs
Brother - Scotty Dunn, Holly Springs
Brother - Kenny Dunn, Powder Springs
Grandchildren: Ashton Shirley, Ansley King, Jordyn Dunn and Jayden Dunn
