George John  Jance Jr.
George John Jance, Jr., age 62, of Canton, GA passed away Monday, October 03, 2016 at Emory University Hospital. Mr. Jance was born in Pittsburgh, PA. George served in the U. S. Army. He touched the lives of so many. Words cannot express his ability to touch the life of anyone he met and always sought to see the best in others.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 1:00 PM, on Friday, October 07, 2016, from the Woodstock City Church with Jeremy Kirby officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, October 06, 2016, at South Canton Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his Parents: George John Jance, Sr. and Joan Blaine Jance

Survivors include:

Daughter - Megan Jance
Son - George John Jance, III
Brother & Sister-in-law - Ed and Anne Jance
Brother & Sister-in-law - Jim and Debbie Jance

A Host of In-Laws, Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Friends


In lieu of flowers, donations are being collected for a one time donation to Atlanta Corrections AA. George was a devoted volunteer and believer in this program.
