Louise was born on March 8, 1962 in Huron, SD and passed away on January 31, 2018 in Atlanta, GA. She was the 3rd of Harold and Margaret Cronk’s 14 children, and raised on their farm in Deming, WA. She fell in love with Vince Baker from McKeesport, PA, and they married on July 27, 1991 during their tour in Germany, where Louise was serving as a Department of Defense schoolteacher in Pirmasens and Vince was serving as a U.S. Army Infantry Officer in Baumholder. During their 26 years of marriage, they welcomed 5 children and lived in Germany, Columbus, GA, Fayetteville, NC, Cortland, OH, Dover, DE, Cambridge, OH, and Canton, GA. Louise was a devoted wife and mother, schoolteacher, and dedicated church maintenance worker and volunteer. Louise was most devoted to raising her family and to her Catholic faith, as evidenced by her regular participation in Bible Study, Prayer Group, attending Adoration and praying the Rosary with her family and friends. She was an avid gardener and loved the outdoors. She was preceded in death by her mother Margaret Mary Cronk, brother Martin Cronk, sister Rosanne Cronk, and brother-in-law Javier Gutierrez. She is survived by her father Harold Cronk, her husband Vince Baker, sisters Theresa (Bob) Joy, Mary (Mike) Farrell, Joanne (Jeff) Cesar, Beverly (JD) Grigware, Virginia Gutierrez, brothers Kevin (Valerie) Cronk, Lawrence (Jennifer) Cronk, Glen (Lisa) Cronk, Darrel (Michelle) Cronk, Lyle (Jenny) Cronk, and Myron (Catherine) Cronk, children Angelica, Marian, Regina, Vincent III, and Julia Baker, and numerous nieces & nephews.
