My condolences to the Easterday Family,

During this time of great sorrow, may it comfort you to know that others are deeply touched by your loss. I too know the pain of losing someone dear. Even though our hearts are broken, rest assure that our Grand Creator cares about you personally (1 Peter 5:7) and can help you through this difficult time.
Revelation 21:4 says "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Soon God will do away with death forever, there will be no more sorrow, heartache, or pain. I hope this brings you a measure of comfort during this painful time.

My prayers are with Ken''s family at this time. I bought a pool table at Sears in Burlington, NC, through Ken in 1967 or 1968. It had a crack in a side panel. Ken ordered a new side panel and came to my house and he replaced the panel. That event told me a lot about Ken.

May these words recorded at Isaiah 25:8 be of much comfort to you and your family during this time of sorrow.
"He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe tears away from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it."
[King James Bible]

Donna,
We are so sorry to hear about my old Navy buddy Ken. What a shock for us. Dan and I really enjoyed having Ken meet with us for our lunch reunion in Oct, 2009. It was also good talking to you by phone that same day after so many years. I have a lot of good memories of you and Ken when we were all in Norfolk and also after you moved back to Burlington. I’ll contact Dan to tell him the sad news. I know he has tried to contact you at least once recently, but we didn’t know you had moved to Georgia. I would really like to talk to you if you have the opportunity to call sometime (336-674-6685). We will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

I wanted to send my condolences. I worked with Ken for many years at Sears and thought a lot of him. He was always someone that could lift you up when you were down always full of laughter. I have not seen him in a very long time but could not ever forget that smile. I know he will be missed. God Bless you all.

I wish I had the right words to make you feel better... to ease the pain of your great loss... but those words just don't exist. Please know that you are loved, even still by him. I pray that the Lord will hold you up, giving you strength to breathe in and out and stand against each day. I pray He helps you see the light through the darkness and feel it's warmth and take comfort in it. Dwell in good memories and laugh. Celebrate his life and what you shared. Lean on each other and on God. Just like those who love you here on earth... God loves you and is holding you in His arms. He will hold your hands and guide you through. Love you and sending hugs from my family to your's.

Donna and Family: I was really sorry to hear about Ken when Larry Morgan called me. As you know, Donna, Ken, Larry and I were in the same US Navy squadron, VP-56. I spent a lot of enjoyable time running around with him in Norfolk, and Larry. We were sort of The Three Musketeers. What a great visit Judy and I had with Ken, Larry and Betty a few years ago as we were passing through. Wish you could have been there too. On a very personal note, Donna, I am glad I was the one that introduced you and Ken to eachother! I have though about the two of you often. Judy and I are so sorry for your loss. Take care. Dan Hon

Donna, I really enjoyed knowing and working with you and Ken in the past and have often wondered whatever happened to you guys. I recently happened to see Ken''''s obituary in an old "Times-News" and was both shocked and saddened at the news of Ken''''s passing. Donna, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, and if you ever get back this way, please look us up. Sincerely, Dick Fisher
