Homer W. Thomason, age 80, of Canton, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010.  He retired from Canton Textile Mill and was of Baptist faith.  He was a member of Canton Moose Family Center and American Legion Post 201 in  Alpharetta.  Funeral services will be held at  2:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, from the Chapel of  South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Horace Biddy and Rev. Troy Davis officiating.  Interment will follow in Macedonia Memorial Park.  He was preceded in death by granddaughter, Cassandra (Sandy) Key.  Survivors include his wife, Jewell Thomason, Canton; sons, Ronnie Thomason, Cartersville, Danny Thomason, Canton; daughters, Sheila Woodfin, Marble Hill, Sondra Lingefelt and Amanda Thomason-Stovall, Canton; brothers, Jimmy (Bud) Thomason, Cumming, George Thomason, Kennesaw; 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.  The family will recieve friends on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and until the funeral hour on Friday.  South Canton Funeral Home (770)479-3377.
