Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Rodgers can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

My Brother

My brother was one of the finest men who ever lived.  He was loyal, kind, loving and thoughtful.  Growing up, he was my favorite playmate.  He could always think of interesting and fun things to do.  At eighteen our hearts were broken because the Korean War had started, his National Guard unit was mobolized and he was sent to North Africa.  He quickly attained the rank of sgt.  After his service he became an electrical engineer and eventually vice-president of his company.  I am so proud of my brother for all he accomplished.

He wasn't a loud person but a genuine person.  He cared for our mother after our father died.  No one could have been a better son.  He loved God and his family with all his heart.  He will be greatly missed but we will see him again in heaven.  So long until God brings us together again.  I love you so much.  Ruth
