The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Othella Harris can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Don, Sheri, and Steve, my heart is so saddened to hear of Othella's passing! I have many, many precious memories with her--from the first time when we met in 1985, we were best friends! We shared a lot of years together in Home Interiors and Gifts; many trips to Dallas, TX; many wonderful occasions and events, and trips, with our Home Interiors Family; shared prayers and blessings; tears and laughter; I have a set of my favorite Christmas mugs from your precious wife/mom, that I chose at a "White Elephant" gift swap in 1985 that Donna Stiles/Home Interiors sponsored; and, enjoyed her fellowship and friendship for the past 30+ years I've know her. The one thing that I know Othella would say if she could talk to me today would be, "the Old Fella!!" When my little Lindsay was about 3-4 years old, she would sometimes answer the phone, and if Othella called to talk to me, Lindsay would say, "Mommy, it's the Old Fella!!😝😜" Lindsay thought that was her name--and, after that when we talked or sent cards back and forth to each other, we ALWAYS signed The Old Fella! That absolutely tickled Othella to tears! And, Lindsay, even as she grew up referred to her as the Old Fella!!πŸ‘πŸ˜œThat's a memory I will always cherish about her--she loved life--she loved God--she loved her family!! And, if you knew Othella, you loved her! I will hold her special place in my heart forever! I'm so sorry I'm out of town and am not able to come show my respects in your loss! Please know I am praying for each of you at this difficult time! I'll see you again one day, sweet friend!! Rest now in peace--you fought a good fight!! Love you forever, and forever you will be in my heart of memories!!
